The war against truth

Within our world there exists sorcerers of thought, who twist and bend ideology and belief in front of your very eyes. Every single one of humanities greatest endeavors and catastrophes began with just a single thought. Just one passing notion that stuck out among the thousands that run through our mind every day.

So who is more dangerous? A lion, or a liar? We're all familiar with the butterfly effect, how one minor event can lead to the fall of Rome.

Ideas manage nations, futures, hopes, desires, romances, beliefs, and the difference between heaven and hell. It is healthier for a man to be cut down than lied to, because at least he knows he’s been hurt. These sorcerers do more than just lie, they encourage, they edify, they uplift; it makes it difficult to distinguish ill intent between someone who cares when it comes to encouragement and edification.

This is exactly why teaching is judged so strongly in the Bible, you can have the best intentions and still lead someone to hell. The tongue holds the power of life and death, one word of advice can lead to someone’s bankruptcy, the pursuit of an entirely new religion, or the sweet freedom of repentance. Sincere speech is not to be taken lightly, advice is not to be taken lightly, because one commitment leads to thousands of future commitments.

There are the manipulators, the liars, the teachers, and leaders. Even with good intentions, they are still playing god whether they realize it or not. To encourage someone to pursue something they had no intention or calling to pursue is altering their identity, and there is a great judgement waiting for this. You are touching their very soul, and changing it to how you believe it should look. It is not hard to be a god, much like it is not hard to do anything in this life if you trade your soul for it, but the price is eternal judgement.

The only way we can live this life is on the foundation of the Logos himself, the truth incarnate, the God-man, Jesus Christ the firm foundation. To be a leader is to be the image of the logos, to be a good friend is to bleed the teachings of Christ, to be a good partner is to love in the image of the logos. Performers will slip, people who strive to become will always fall short, surrender into his Holy Spirit in every circumstance ensures you are a light that edifies in truth, encourages in truth, leads in truth, loves in truth, and lives in truth.

You’ll be the blade, the sword that divides soul and spirit, chaos from order, truth from lie. There is no greater virtue, sharper blade, than truth itself.
